2017 Report

2017 National Report on Mental Health and Suicide Prevention

We are pleased to present the National Mental Health Commission’s 2017 National Report on Mental Health and Suicide Prevention.

This year, we are reporting on the outcomes of our engagement with stakeholders and the work of the Commission to help shape a mental health system that can respond to peoples’ needs more effectively.

We are currently in the process of developing a new monitoring and reporting framework which will guide our future reports. This framework will also enable us to consider national reform in mental health and suicide prevention through the lens of consumers and carers, and their experiences. We look forward to bringing you a new approach to our reporting in 2018.
