The Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety

In October 2019, the Commission made a Submission to the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety.

The Commission believes that mental health care is an integral part of aged care business including residential aged care. We have recommended that the Royal Commission hold a public hearing focused on ways that the aged care system may be better inclusive of safe, appropriate and high quality mental health services.
